Remaining socially active and pursuing interests and hobbies can be
difficult for people with physical disabilities who live independently.
That's why the Inglis Adult Day Program's social, educational, therapeutic
and wellness activities attract clients ages 18 and older. If you have a
physical disability and live at home, here is how you can benefit by
becoming a client in the Inglis Adult Day Program:
Learn skills to help you live on your own longer by keeping healthy and easing feelings of loneliness, isolation and withdrawal. |
Enjoy activities with others including computer training, support groups and educational programs. |
Eat a healthy breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack while socializing with others. |
Receive medical and personal care, which may include medical, dental and vision care, rehabilitative therapies and wheelchair seating and positioning services. |
The program also has another benefit. In addition to keeping you more active and involved, your family members and caregivers have more time to tend to other responsibilities while you enjoy the program.
