APPLICATIONS FOR 2010 INGLIS AWARDS FOR CONTINUING EXCELLENCE
NOW BEING ACCEPTED…NEW GUIDELINES APPLY

(Philadelphia, PA) – The Board of Directors of Inglis Foundation announces a call for applications for the 2010 Inglis Awards for Continuing Excellence. Now in its fifth year, the Awards program honors the performance of not-for-profit organizations in the Philadelphia region that enhance the quality of life and increase opportunities for independence for people with physical disabilities.

Suzanne Rotondo, Chair of the Awards Review Committee, commented, “The objectives and eligibility criteria have been expanded for the 2010 Awards program. For the first time organizations serving populations of adults or children with multiple disabilities that include physical or mobility disabilities will be considered. The entire Awards Review Committee has been impressed with the work accomplished by past recipients. Our goal in the 2010 program is to assist additional worthy organizations in expanding their programs and services for people with physical disabilities.”

The Awards of up to $20,000 each recognize the effectiveness and innovation of not-for-profit organizations providing direct services, products and/or advocacy for people with physical disabilities in the Philadelphia region. Award winners will be announced in May 2010 and honored in June 2010 at a ceremony in Philadelphia, PA.

The deadline for receiving applications for the 2010 Inglis Awards for Continuing Excellence program is Monday, December 7, 2009. Application instructions and forms can be downloaded at www.inglis.org/pdf/ace2010.pdf. These materials may also be obtained by calling (215) 581-0707, or via email at awards@inglis.org.
