INGLIS FOUNDATION ELECTS SIX NEW DIRECTORS, RE-ELECTS EIGHT
PHILADELPHIA (September 21, 2007) --- Inglis Foundation, the non-profit organization that serves people with physical disabilities, today announced it has elected six new Directors to its Board and has re-elected eight Directors.
The elections follow the recent restructuring of the organization. The Foundation Board will now oversee Inglis House; Inglis Housing Corporation, which develops accessible, affordable housing; and Inglis Durable Medical Equipment Co., a company that supplies mobility equipment such as wheelchairs.
The new Directors are:
- Michael Dandorph - Senior Vice President of Business Development, University of Pennsylvania Health System
- John Dugan - Partner, Health Industries Advisory Practice, Price Waterhouse Coopers
- JoAnne Fredericks - Senior Vice President, Pennsylvania Trust Company
- Nancy Kirby - Assistant Dean & Director of Admissions, Graduate School of Social Work & Social Research at Bryn Mawr College; elected Secretary
- Theodore (Ted) Robb - Robb Associates
- Sankey Williams, M.D. – Chief, Division of General Internal Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System
They join eight individuals who were re-elected Directors:
- Carolyn Bennett - Community Volunteer
- Caryl Carpenter, Ph.D. - Head, Department of Management, Health and Human Resources, Widener University; elected Treasurer
- Alison T. Dante - Attorney, Morgan Lewis Bockius LLP
- Luisa Rabe - President, Pruett Rabe Associates; elected Board Chair
- Marisa Rogers, M.D. - Medical Director, Spectrum Health Services, Inc.
- Laura Schwanger - Regional Administrator (retired), United Spinal Association
- Mary Lee Stallkamp - Community Volunteer; elected Vice Chair
- Jacqueline Zinn, Ph.D. - Professor, Fox School of Business and Management, Temple University
