CHRISTINE E. LACY NAMED DIRECTOR OF PROPERTY MANAGEMENT OPERATIONS FOR INGLIS HOUSING CORPORATION
(Philadelphia, PA) – Christine E. Lacy has joined Inglis Housing Corporation (IHC) as director of property management operations, announced Cary F. Leptuck, acting president and CEO of Inglis Foundation. IHC (a non-profit subsidiary of Inglis Foundation) is a Philadelphia-based developer of affordable, wheelchair-accessible housing for people with physical disabilities.
As director of property management operations, Mrs. Lacy is responsible for the administration of seven of IHC’s residential properties in the Philadelphia area: Morris/Klein Apartments, Inglis Gardens at Eastwick I & II, Inglis Gardens at Evesham (NJ), Inglis Gardens at Washington Lane, Inglis Gardens at Germantown, and Inglis Apartments at Elmwood. She oversees the maintenance of the physical plants and continued compliance with federal and state regulations.
Mrs. Lacy brings with her decades of experience in property management, including more than 20 years managing federally subsidized housing for families, seniors and people with physical or developmental disabilities.
“I chose to manage subsidized housing because that environment allows me to improve the lives of others,” Mrs. Lacy explains. “This work fulfills my personal mission to serve humanity in a positive way. Inglis Housing Corporation has done excellent work in developing high-quality accessible housing, and I hope to complement this work by ensuring that the properties receive the best possible management.”
Mrs. Lacy is certified by the National Leased Housing Association as an assisted housing property manager (AHPM) and by the National Center for Housing Management as a Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), Certified Manager of Maintenance (CMM), Certified Manager of Housing (CMH) and Certified Financial Manager (CFM). She is also a Certified Fair Housing Coordinator.
Her previous positions include Director of Housing Management for Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey (Burlington, NJ), Property Manager for Luther Arms (Trenton, NJ) and property manager for Gateway Village (Capitol Heights, MD), a National Church Residences community. Since 1995, she has owned and operated Cell Solutions (Merchantville, NJ) which provides consulting services for property management companies.
A native of Boston, MA, Mrs. Lacy resides in Merchantville, NJ.
