TRACIE BUTLER GILES NAMED VICE PRESIDENT,
CHIEF INTEGRITY OFFICER FOR INGLIS FOUNDATION
(Philadelphia, PA) – Tracie Butler Giles joins Inglis Foundation as vice president, chief integrity officer. Ms. Giles comes to Inglis from CIGNA Corporation, where she served as deputy chief compliance officer since 2007.
As Inglis’ vice president, chief integrity officer, Ms. Giles will partner with the Board, CEO and senior team to ensure that Inglis Foundation and its people operate with the highest standards of integrity and transparency. She will guide staff in understanding and meeting Federal, State and Regional regulatory requirements and laws. She will also establish processes for monitoring performance, identifying risks and responding to consumer, family, staff or community compliance concerns.
In addition, Ms. Giles will provide first line legal review and guidance to Inglis leadership and ensure effective and efficient use of external legal counsel. She will also work to refine Inglis’ social responsibility principles, improvement initiatives and feedback systems.
As deputy chief compliance officer at CIGNA, Ms. Giles was responsible for the international compliance program, code of ethics administration and employee compliance training. From 1993 to 2006, she held progressively more responsible positions at the General Electric Company, including serving as the General Counsel of two operating units.
Ms. Giles began her legal career as a corporate associate at the Philadelphia-based law firm Dechert (1988–1993). She received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the Johns Hopkins University and a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School. She has completed GE’s Management Development Course and is certified in the Six Sigma business management strategy. She resides in Melrose Park, PA.
