LEA DANDREA NAMED VICE PRESIDENT, INNOVATION AND
INFORMATION FOR INGLIS FOUNDATION
(Philadelphia, PA) – Lea Dandrea joins Inglis Foundation as vice president, innovation and information. Ms. Dandrea comes to Inglis from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where most recently she served as director of the Process Innovation Center.
As Inglis’ vice president, innovation and information, Ms. Dandrea is responsible for ensuring that consumers and staff have the information, work processes, training and capabilities they need to achieve Inglis’ strategic and operating goals. This includes providing staff with necessary information systems, technological support, information security and business continuity planning. She will also partner with Inglis’ CEO to foster organization-wide innovation and support the development of creative adapted computing strategies that benefit both Inglis House residents and the disability community as a whole.
Ms. Dandrea is a nurse who has over 25 years experience in both direct patient care and in improving healthcare operations. During her tenure at Children’s Hospital she led multiple implementation teams to move existing services into new facilities, enhance revenue, standardize clinical documentation, provide project management and process redesign services and develop competency-based orientation programs for clinical support areas of the hospital.
Prior to her tenure at Children’s Hospital, Ms. Dandrea served for 14 years as a senior implementation manager and principal consultant for Siemens Medical Systems (formerly Shared Medical Systems) from 1987-2001. Before moving into Information Systems, she served as a staff nurse and nurse manager for nearly 10 years. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh. She resides in Malvern, PA.
