Paula Umaña
Executive Director, Inglis Community Services
Paula Umaña is a mission-driven leader dedicated to advancing social and economic mobility through strategic innovation, partnership-building, and operational excellence. As the Executive Director of Inglis Community Services, she brings extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, systems development, and community empowerment, ensuring lasting impact for under-resourced communities.
Paula previously served as Interim Chief Operating Officer at NJ211 and Managing Director of Community Resiliency at United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. At Temple University’s Hope Center, she was the inaugural Director of Community Impact, spearheading coalition-building and developing national training programs.
A native of Bogotá, Colombia, Paula holds a Master’s in Adult and Organizational Development from Temple University and a Bachelor’s in Science from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. She launched key initiatives like Philadelphia’s first Hispanic Capacity Building Institute and directed programming for the Center for Progressive Leadership in Pennsylvania.
Beyond her professional work, Paula serves on various boards and enjoys hiking, mindfulness, and the arts. She is excited to advance Inglis Community Services’ mission through collaboration and innovative solutions.
