Adult day centers across PA in trouble due to delay in state COVID funding.
The great folks at Lehigh Valley Public Media (WLVR) have highlighted the crisis that adult day centers across Pennsylvania are facing. Due to COVID-19, all Day Programs were shut down. But many knew that the lack of participation in their progrmas - the lack in social interactions, activities, wellness checks and more -- could have serious consequences for the people these programs serve.
Nicole Pruitt, Director of Inglis' Innovation Center, and who oversees Inglis' Connections Day Program for adults with disabilities, is also Secretary of the Board for the PA Adult Day Services Association and was interviewed for the WLVR story on public radio.
